The Academy of Art University Athletics Department recently announced that it has entered into a five-year partnership with Nike through BSN SPORTS. Commencing immediately, the agreement is part of the BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select program which aims to make BSN SPORTS a one-stop provider for all collegiate staff apparel and equipment to all NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III schools. The Urban Knights and Nike’s department-wide arrangement will rekindle a vibrant relationship between the two institutions: Nike played a key part in ART U’s athletic history from the program’s inception through 2014.
“We are excited about this new partnership with Nike through BSN SPORTS,” said Director of Athletics Brad Jones. “Strengthening our brand by aligning with one of the most recognizable logos in sports, this agreement provides the finest apparel and athletic products to our Academy of Art athletic teams and benefits each student-athlete representing our community. The details of this strategic partnership will help us enhance the experience for the student-athletes, staff, and fans.”
Nike will serve as the exclusive outfitter for all 14 ART U varsity sports teams. The multi-year agreement includes numerous incentives in the form of discounts and rewards along with incentives for on-field achievements and additional marketing and promotional opportunities.
