Awards season has arrived at Academy of Art University!
As the semester builds up to the annual Spring Show, the Schools of Entertainment are hosting the NXTUP Awards! NXTUP recognizes students from the Schools of Acting, Motion Pictures & Television, and Writing for Film, Television, and Digital Media.
You’re invited to join us on Wednesday, May 7, at 7 p.m. (PT) at the theater at 79 New Montgomery. You may also watch the festivities online via Zoom by clicking here.
This year’s nominees have been announced, but now you—the audience—get to play a part in this year’s show by voting for the NXTUP Audience Awards! There are five Audience Awards categories: Best Picture, Actress in a Comedy, Actor in a Comedy, Actress in a Drama, and Actor in a Drama. You can watch the nominated NXTUP films and performances online, including the Audience Award nominees.
